BG120B Exploratory Electricity and Electronics
Trainer
A self-contained unit which
begins with the most basic concepts of electricity and proceeds to a survey look at
electricity that includes the use of such everyday devices as a motor-generator
setup and AC/DC power supplies.
The unit is complete with an
extensive experimental/programmed lab manual/text that has proven to be an
excellent basis for a course of study up to 100 hours, which is easily
understood by beginning students.

trainer includes the following: |

Two 6VAC Power Supplies,
protected Motor-Generator Set
-
Jar and Electrodes for static
and chemical electricity
-
Magnetic Coil, bus-bar,
required power resistors, built-in circuit breaker, 6V and 12V bulbs,
capacitors, rheostat, compass, diodes, etc.

All mounted parts are stored
on the self-contained Velcro hook and loop work surface.

Two 6VAC power supplies are
overload protected and current limited.

All materials are housed in a
sturdy wood case with a latching cover. Connection between parts is made
using alligator clip leads and stacking banana plug leads, which are
included.

The experimental parts can be
repaired and maintained in the classroom, as required. All parts are secured
as required with Velcro hook and loop on the work surface. The power panel
is 16" square and is 1/8" thick deep etched aluminum for long life
and easy maintenance.
