BG55S Basic Electricity-One Year Course
with Built-In Power Supply and Metering
The BG55S is a large self-contained unit
which begins with the most basic concepts of Electricity and proceeds to a survey look at
Electronics, Semiconductors, and transistors.
"Basic Electricity and Semiconductor
Electronics"-30 experiments--can be performed using the self-contained BG5C Power Supply. Additional metering and an
AF generator are required.
The BG55S Case contains:
0-15 VDC Power Supply,
up to 150mA
6 VAC Power Supply
DC Voltmeter-0- 15 VDC
DC Milliammeter-0-150mA
Assortment of resistors,
capacitors, inductor coil, relay, diodes, switches, lamps,
potentiometers, characteristics and interconnecting
leads, etc. Etched aluminum storage tray for most storage. The
overall size of the unit is 17" wide x 13" tall x 13" deep. It
requires a power source of 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
Also available for 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz.

The AC and DC self-contained power supplies are
current limited and over-load protected. The integral meters measure the
output of the DC power supply, as well any other point desired in the experimental circuit, using
the built-in internal/external switches.
Connection between parts is made using alligator clip leads, which are
included. Most loose experimental parts are secured to the work surface with
Velcro hook and loop pads and strips. (55S)
