Brodhead Garrett Advanced Electronics Training Series
These units are similar to the BG Introductory Electronics Series, but provide for an extended in-depth look at both electricity and electronics in an expanded format. Very popular at the high school level, your students can work through the lab text and reinforce concepts earned at earlier stages of their development. All units include a complete, Velcro mounted parts and components array which are connected by aligator clip leads and stored in a sturdy, attractive wooden enclosure. Each training system includes one student manual set. Additional copies available on request.

BG902S Modern Electricity and Semiconductor Electronics Two Year Course with Built-in Power Supply and Meters-147 Experiments
The BG902S is a large self-contained unit. The unit includes three different Student Lab Manuals:
  • "Modern Electricity & Semiconductor Electronics" with 47 experiments

  • "Modern Semiconductor Electronics-Vol. 1 " with 50 experiments

  • "Modern Semiconductor Electronics-Vol. 2" with 50 experiments

Most experiments in the manuals can be performed on the circuit using the self-contained PI Power Supply.

Technical Specifications:
The BG902S Case contains:
0-25 VDC Power Supply, up to 500mA
0-25/100 VDC Power Supply, up to 50mA
6 VAC and 12 VAC Power Supplies
DC Voltmeter for 25 VDC
DC Voltmeter for 25/100 VDC

Assortment of resistors, capacitors, inductor coil, transformer, relay, solarcell, diodes, switches, lamps, potentiometers, thermistor, transistors-NPN and PNP, FET, UJT, PUT, SCR, OP AMP module, Universal Module and interconnecting leads, etc. Two etched aluminum storage trays and a foamlined compartment to store all of the experimental parts and leads. The overall size of the unit is 17"W x 13"D x 16"H. It requires a power source of 1 1 5 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Also available for 220 VAC.

Features:
The unit is complete with three lab manual/texts that have proven to be an excellent basis for a course of study up to 300 hours, and is easily mastered by beginning and intermediate students. All of the AC and DC self-contained power supplies are current limited and over-load protected. The integral voltmeters measure the output of the two DC power supplies at all times. All of the meters and power supplies are mounted on a two-color etched 1/8" thick aluminum panel. All mate rials and the power/meter unit are housed in a sturdy formica-covered wood case with a locking front cover. Two separate modules are included for advanced study: OP AMP Module and Universal Module. They allow the more advanced circuits to be assembled quickly and easily.
