Lek-Pak Motor Training Systems
The Lek-Pak Motor Control Training System is a modular approach to teaching a wide range of industrial motor concepts and electronics. Lek-Pak rotating equipment is mechanically coupled quickly and easily without any use of cumbersome, dangerous belt drives - neoprene-rimmed aluminum flywheels are used. Because the wheel is exposed top and bottom, three units can be stacked together. Thus two prony brakes can load one motor, or a motor can be coupled to a generator and then to a brake. No other system has this capability without using expensive double shaft motors and generators. Both packages include a hand held tachometer.

Lek-Pak Single Phase/DC Motor Package Includes:
Model P331 Single Phase AC/DC Power Supply
This unit is designed to power the single phase AC Lek-Pak units as well as all DC units. Fixed and variable AC and DC outputs can be used simultaneously.

P135 Split Phase, Motor
Designed to teach the principles of resistance split phase inductive start motors.

P136 Capacitor Start Motor
Designed to teach the principles of capacitor start motors.

P131 DC Machine
May be used to teach principles of DC motors and generators. The machine is compound wound enabling shunt series and compound modes of operation.

P602 Eddy Current Prony Brake
It is essential to mechanically load a motor to determine experimentally its load characteristics. P602 magnetic prony brake provides up to 30 lbs. in torque in each direction and is adjusted with the control knob.

Lek-Pak Three Phase Motors Includes:
P210 Three Phase & DC Power Supply
Provides five separate power sources. All AC and high voltage DC outputs can be read on the switched voltmeter. Dual Electro-Lock key switch protected. Required input is 208/120 VAC, 3 phase 4 wire, 60 Hz.

P133 Three Phase Squirrel Cage Motor
May be used to teach the principles of polyphase squirrel-cage motors and as a prime mover for driving generators, alternators, etc. It can operate Delta or WYE.

P134 Wound Rotor Synchronous Motor
May be us to teach the principles of polyphase wound rotor induction motors and as a prime mover for driving generators, alternators, etc. Can be operated as an induction generator, or power selsyn.
