Electronic Ignition-System II
This demonstration board allows the student to understand how a complete automotive electronic ignition functions. It uses a reluctor and pick-up coil instead of traditional mechanical breaker points. Spark plug firing is simulated by the flashing of light emitting diodes (L.E.D.'s) which are low-voltage devices, thus eliminating any possibility of a shock hazard. The board will provide a demonstration of electronic ignition systems that are used on many of today's modern automobiles. It comes complete with a built-in power supply and instruction manual.
