BG95S Modern Electricity and Electronics-Two
Year Course with Built-in Power Supply & Metering
The BG95S is a large self-contained unit which begins with the most
basic concepts of Electricity and proceeds to an in-depth study of Electronics
and Semiconductors. The unit includes two different Student Lab Manuals:
"Modern Electricity and Semiconductor Electronics" w/35 experiments
and "Modern Semiconductor Electronics" w/60 experiments. Most
experiments in the manuals can be performed using the self-contained P1 Power
Supply. Additional metering and AF and RF generators are required.
The BG96S Case contains:
0-25 VDC Power Supply, up to 500mA
0-25/100 VDC Power Supply, up to 50mA
6 VAC and 12 VAC Power Supplies
DC Voltmeter for 25 VDC
DC Voltmeter for 25/100 VDC
Assortment of resistors, capacitors, inductor
coil, transformer, relay, diodes, switches, lamps, potentiometers, thermistor,
transistors-NPN and PNP, FET, UJT, PUT, SCR and interconnecting leads,
etc.
The overall size of the unit is 17" wide x
16" tall x 13" deep. It requires a power source of 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
Also available for 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
Features:
The unit is complete with two lab manual/texts that have proven to be an
excellent basis of a course of study up to 250 hours, and that is easily
mastered by beginning and intermediate students.
All of the AC and DC self-contained power
supplies are current limited and over-load protected. The integral voltmeters
measure the output of the two DC power supplies at all times.
All materials and the power/meter unit are housed
in a sturdy formica-covered wood case with a locking front cover. Connection
between parts is made using alligator clip leads which are included. Most loose
experimental parts are secured the work surface with Velcro hook and loop pads
and strips.
