Designed to teach the principles of
resistance split phase inductive start motors. The main winding, staring winding
and speed-sensitive switch are all brought out to color coded binding posts.
Horsepower 1/4 and 115 volts, 60hz. Full load amps 4, and full load speed 1725.

P136 Capacitor Start Motor
Designed to teach the principles of capacitor
start motors. The main winding, starting winding and speed-sensitive switch are
all brought out to color coded binding posts, as is the capacitor. Horsepower 1/4
and 115 volts, 60 hz. Full load amps 4, and full load speed 1725.

P131 DC Machine
May be used to teach principles of DC
motors and generators. The machine is compound wound enabling shunt, series and
compound modes of operation. Armature, shunt field and series field terminal are
brought out to color coded binding posts for ease of connection. A shunt field
rheostat is also provided with its terminals brought out to binding posts. Rated
as: Horsepower 1/3 nominal input voltage 125 DC, nominal full load amps 2.6,
nominal speed (RPM) 1750. Generator: maximum rated output 100 watts DC, nominal
output voltage 125 VDC, full load amps, 0.8A, nominal speed 1750.

P602 Eddy Current Prony Brake
It is essential to mechanically load a motor to determine experimentally its
load characteristics. P602 Magnetic Prony Brake is designed to couple readily
with any LEK-PAK motor. Unlike in mechanical prony brakes, there is no direct mechanical
coupling between the pointer and the shaft under load. A given torque can be
maintained continuously. The unit provides up to 30 Ibs. in torque in each
direction and is adjusted with the control knob.

P133 Three Phase Squirrel Cage
Motor
May be used to teach the principles of
polyphase squirrel-cage motors and as a prime mover for driving generators,
alternators, etc. It can operate Delta or WYE. The three stator coils are
brought out to color coded binding posts. Horsepower 1/4, 3 phase, 208 volts, 60
hz. Full load amps 1.4 and full load speed, 1725.

P134 Wound Rotor/Synchronous
Motor
May be used to teach the principles of
polyphase wound rotor induction motors and as a prime mover for driving
generators, alternators, etc. Also it can be operated as induction generator, or
power selsyn. Synchronous Machine may be used to teach principles of polyphase
synchronous motors and alternators. The machine is DC excited on the rotor and
has self-starting characteristics in the synchronous motor mode of operation.
The three stator coils and the rotor terminals are brought out to color coded binding
posts. Rated as: Horsepower 1/3, input voltage 3, phase, 208v, frequency 60 Hz,
1.7 full load amps, 1710 rpm. Rotor Excitation - 24 VDC for synchronous
operation.

P137 Capacitor Run Motor
Used to teach the principles of permanent
capacitor split-phase motors. The main winding, auxiliary winding and capacitor
terminals are all brought out to color-coded binding posts. Horsepower is 1/4
and nominal input voltage is 115, 60 hz. Full load amps is 3 and full load speed
is 1700.

P138 Universal Motor
Designed to teach the principles of
universal motors and it serves as a variable speed prime mover operable both on
AC and DC voltages. It is equipped with two binding posts for the armature and
four for the fields. The full field is used for AC operation and a portion of it
is used for DC operation. Horsepower is 1/4 and the input voltage (AC or DC) is
100 volts (60 hz).

P205 Three Phase Wattmeter
Incorporates two 5" single phase wattmeters
to measure up to 300 watts at 2 amps per wattmeter. The two wattmeter method is
used to calculate three phase power at all normal power factors. To use the
meter panel, it is merely necessary to connect a three wire, three phase input
and to take the the output from the appropriate binding posts. Phasing Switches
are provided to correct for line imbalances. Can be used with any three phase
source up to 240VAC. Wattmeter current coils are magnetic circuit breaker and diode
protected.

can be read on the switched voltmeter. Dual Electro-Lock key switch protected.
Required input is 208/120vac, 3 phase 4 wire, 60 hz. Special 50 hz version
available with power transformer to convert higher voltages of 50hz three phase
to 208/120vac.
